Lesson # 1 – Two are Better than One

The primary purpose of marriage is companionship. Two people will always achieve more goals, cover more grounds, make better decisions and so on. I often thank God for my partner, my husband of 21 years and counting. We supplement, support and complement each other. We fight and overcome barriers, obstacles and all the challenges of life together. Have you ever thought about how difficult life would be without your spouse?

It is important that couples appreciate their spouses for being there, for being each other’s hero and rock. This is what the word of God says about the power of two -“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”Ecclesiastes 4:9‭-‬12 NKJV

Keep loving and stay married!
